Annie Doan

Annie Doan was born on March 25, 2011; she’s the youngest in her family. Her family consists of four family members. Everyone in her family is Asian or Asian-American. She and her sister have a five year age gap causing it to be a bit hard to bond together, but they still make it work. It took them a while to actually become close, but they eventually learned how to. Her relationship with her parents is always good because she never dares to disobey her parents. At home, she’s very talkative and loves to talk to her family. She always wants to talk to her sister, but she can’t due to her sister being busy. Her life at home is quite normal overall, but at school it is different for her. At school, she mainly focuses on her studies due to her parents encouraging her to always work her hardest at school and focus on friends later. This eventually led her into being really shy and quiet. Although she has never liked school that much, she has always been fond of writing stories. Her favorite thing to do is create fantasy stories and she always uses her imagination in these stories. Her love for writing led her into joining Journalism in 7th and 8th grade. Some things that she does after school are listen to music or do homework. She says she can’t live without music and would love to listen to music every single day. She has no specific music genre she loves, but if she had to choose she’d either pick indie pop. Some of her favorite artists consist of Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Beabadoobee, and Rich Amiri.

Camilla Hernandez

Camila Hernandez was born on August 19, 2011, the same day (but not year) Bill Clinton who was an American lawyer and the 42nd of the United States was born. Camila was named after her mom’s favorite show that had a lady with the name Camila; her mom loved the name and named her after the lady in the show. Camila has two older brothers who are 11 and 8 years older than her. Camil and her family lived with her cousins when she was a baby. When Camila was three, she started to get something on her skin. Her mom didn’t know what it was so she went to see what it was. They found out that Camila has something called Vitiligo and that you lose color in your skin. How did Camila feel about it? Camila moved when she was 10 years old. She had no idea why she needed to move, but she did and now she lives somewhere small but nice. Camila likes to go outside and use her bike and go as far as she can go. She is in school now and she hates it—she likes some classes but hates some. She loves to go to the pool or the beach with her family. Sometimes it is just her and dad or her brother there, the only ones with a car who can take her. Camila is close with both her brothers but the one she is really close with is her brother Carlos. They are  because they both find something that is funny. 

Catherine Nguyen

Catherine Nguyen was born on July 22, 2011 in the hospital of Fountain Valley.  She grew up in Orange County, and attended Newhope Elementary. In her early years, she enjoyed spending time with her dogs, even though she was allergic.    She also spent time with her older sister, but now not so much.  In second grade, she also was accepted to GATE school,  but she declined; if she hadn’t, she wouldn’t be at Fitz now.  Throughout her life, Catherine worked hard to achieve good grades. Elementary came easy to her, but middle school was more challenging in the aspects of more work, projects, and presentations.  Her attention span is low from social media, so it is hard for her to focus on things.  The most important people to her are her family and friends.  When she grows up, she aspires to be a lawyer so she can bring more justice to the world.  UCLA is the goal, but if not she has other options. 

Chloe Petersen

Chloe Petersen was born October 18, 2011. Chloe loves having her birthday in October because her older sisters, Tarry and Anissa’s, birthdays are a few days from her’s.  Chloe loves to sing and dance with her sisters and mom. Another thing that she loves to do is watch movies with her older brother Jr. They watch The Flash on Netflix and any movie on Disney. Her favorite song is “Lowlife” by Young Blud. Furthermore, Chloe always keeps two pictures in her backpack, one of Chloe with her dad and another with her mom . In fact, Chloe’s hobbies are singing, dancing, riding her bike, and doing art in her free time. Chloe has five siblings, including her three half siblings. She also has three more that are not blood related but are the siblings of her half siblings. She is now the second oldest because she now has a little sister named GG. They call her GG because her name is either too hard to pronounce or too hard to spell.  Chloe gets along with her older siblings pretty well; she has 7 older siblings and they’re all either in their 20s or teens. She gets along the best with her brother Jr and sister Tarry.

Citlalli Sanchez

Citlalli Sánchez was born on May 15, 2011. She has one younger sister. Citlalli’s family consists of her, her younger sister, and her mom and dad; all of her family is either Mexican or Mexican-American. One of Citlalli’s favorite hobbies is to listen to music or write. When she listens to music, she loves to listen to Miss Krazie, Miss Lady Pinks, Steve Lacy, and many more. Also, she loves to write poems, journal, and talk about her day. She finds it relaxing and calming, especially if she’s stressed out.

Eva Langlois

Eva Langlois was born on August 12, 2011 in California. Eva is an only child. She has mixed feelings about not having siblings because when she was young she didn’t have anyone to play with, so she had to entertain herself. Her mom’s side of the family is from Mexico City, while her dad’s side is from a little town in Italy named Sicily.  She enjoys math but hates English. Her hobbies are walking, crafting and shopping. In her spare time she likes to draw and take walks, sometimes she even likes to go on runs with her mom. She enjoys walking and running because it relieves the stress and clears her mind. When you first meet her she is shy and quiet, but once you get to know her better she is extremely chatty. At home she enjoys listening to music and watching TV shows. She loves listening to music because it gives her a sense of comfort. Eva’s dream career is to become a lawyer for criminal justice. And her backup plan is becoming a psychologist.

Genesis Yaxon

Genesis was born on October 24th sharing the same date (but not year) as the famous artist Drake. Genesis is an only child with no siblings, which causes her to mostly be alone at home and leads her to always want to hang out with her friends. Genesis has always lived in Santa Ana but occasionally visits her family in Los Angeles and Costa Mesa. She loves being with her family and going to places with them. Besides her family, Genesis also enjoys listening to music. Her favorite artists are Mac Demarco, Kali Uchis, Clario and The Marias. Genesis absolutely loves doing her homework, but only when she can listen to music; she thinks it’s a good combo put together. Although Genesis doesn’t have siblings, she has her mom who she loves with her whole heart. Her favorite subject is History because she gets to learn about what has happened in the past centuries. This year Genesis wishes to get good grades.

Jennifer Heredia

Jennifer Heredia was born on April 26, 2012. Ever since she was elementary she was always dedicated to getting good grades. She has two  older sisters.  Jennifer has always found animals interesting, specifically rabbits, cats, and dogs. Jennifer has 3 pets, 2 dogs, Lucy and Canelo and a cat, named Minino which she loves a lot. Throughout elementary school she got 6 principal awards in total. Some of her hobbies are drawing, listening to music, texting her friends, and watching Youtube. She loves being around her friends and family—they always find a way to make her smile. She enjoys playing online games with her friends, everyday after school she is looking forward to spending some time with them. Her favorite types of games are fashion games. Jennifer really likes listening to music. She can’t go one day without at least one song, due to this she likes rhythm games. One of her favorite games has to be BanG Dream. On the other hand, she’s very passionate about her dream job. She hopes to become a teacher. Jennifer could either be an introvert or extrovert around people, but she is mostly an introvert around new people. Although Jennifer doesn’t talk as much, she always finds a way to participate at school. Out of all the subjects she likes English; she Isn’t great at math but is a really good reader. Some of her favorite artists are Tyler, The creator, Dorian Electra, The Cardigans, Alex G, IAMX, and a lot of Vocaloid producers. Jennifer has been a Vocaloid fan since 1st grade, one of her favorite Virtual Singer has to be IA. She hopes to find happiness and success in the future. She’s very grateful to have a good education and thinks Fitzs is an amazing place to learn.

Jordyn Davis

Jordyn Davis was born on October 1, 2010 on a Friday in Los Angeles, California. This is also the same day (six years ago) when the popular movie Shark Tale, which is also one of her favorite movies, was released. She has always loved thrillers and scary movies. Also, She’s a very extroverted person and loves talking (a little too much than necessary) especially with her friends. On the other hand, She has six siblings, five sisters and one brother. She has a love-hate relationship with her older sister, though they do share the same interest in art and love to talk to each other. Although Jordyn finds a liking in a lot of things, there are a few things that irritate her sometimes like being ignored, talked over, or talked about.  At the age seven, Jordyn learned how to skateboard and play volleyball. It’s one of her earliest memories. She has been inspecting and creating art since kindergarten and wants to be a successful artist later on in her future.

Katelinh Vuong-Monroy

Katelinh Vuong-Monroy was born on December 6th 2011, a reason why winter is her favorite season. She was born and raised in California. In her household, she is the youngest. She has two loving parents, one older sister named Samantha, and two house cats named Smokey and Tia Blanca. When Katelinh was small, her parents found out that she and her sister were on the Spectrum. That meant that Katelinh and her sister would have trouble understanding things that would be told to them. With Katelinh on the spectrum, she was very behind her peers at her school. All of the other students knew what they were doing, but Katelinh had trouble understanding things. But soon, Katelinh caught up with the help of other people. Then moved on to her next school, Monroe. At her new school, she was really shy, but soon made friends. She still had a hard time in class, especially since the class was in Spanish. She was very confused, but soon understood the language. Up until 4th grade, her grades were really good. But as the classes got harder and harder, Katelinh had a hard time focusing in her class. She began zoning out. She had to rely on her mom to tutor her before a test. Outside of school, she wantsto become a writer. She has been writing stories ever since she was two or three years old. She was also obsessed with music. Especially if it us from BLACKPINK. She also liked to read a lot of books. Her favorite book series is Wings of Fire.

Nicholas Dinh

Nicholas Dinh was born December 6, 2011 in Huntington Beach.  Nicholas was always a creative person.  He would always make legos but would never use the instructions and make his mom help him all the time.  He would love to play with HotWheels and make his own tracks.  Also he has two siblings, one a girl named Abigail and a brother named  Dominic.  In addition he started playing football when he was six years old and never stopped since.  While he was waiting for the football season to start, he played soccer for about 3 years. Then he played baseball for 1 year while still playing football.  In second grade he met this girl named Ohana and they have been friends ever since then.  He was never happy going to school but he always loved hanging out with friends and playing sports. They became close enough for their parents to start talking to each other.  Ohana had just moved to the school but she played this sport called rugby.  Soon enough he started playing with her and played 3 years with each other.  Now he’s in 7th grade and Ohana is still in his school. They have 0, 3 and 4th periods with each other.  A few years later Nicholas stopped playing rugby and pursued playing football instead.  His brother, Dominic, is playing high school football and his sister Abby is doing paddling. 

Alyssa (Norma) Carachure

Alyssa Carachure was born on September 22, 2010.  Something that Alyssa likes about her birthday is that it’s two days after her friend’s birthday. She is an only child that (sometimes) wishes she had a sibling. Alyssa loves to capture memories with friends and family by taking pictures. She loves to get into new hobbies to try them out and see if she would like to continue or not. Alyssa used to live with cousins, grandparents, and her mom when she was a little girl. But, I don’t live with them anymore. I still go to visit once and a while. Her life at home is pretty normal. Once she gets home from school she cleans the house a little bit to help her family since they come back from work very tired. She loves sharing jokes with her family to make them laugh. Alyssa loves to travel to Mexico to see relatives. When she goes, she usually buys chips to put in her suitcase to take back home because of how good they are. The last time she went to Mexico she stayed in the house that her grandpa built. They still visited family and went to parties with them but she didn’t stay at their houses.

Saray Cisneros

Saray Cisneros was born on January 28, 2011. She loves that it’s the same month that her favorite music artist, Cuco, released his first album. One of her favorite songs from him is “Summertime High Time.” She loves how the song talks about summer. But that’s not Saray’s sole favorite artist, she also loves Asap Rocky, Lil Tracy and Lil Peep.

Saray is also one of the youngest in her family. Even though it’s hard to have a large age gap between her and her brother and two sisters, she still manages to bond with them. Despite having a large family, Saray is mostly shy with everyone except her friends; she loves to talk and laugh with all of them. Saray always makes sure to never have any of her friends feel left out and is always kind to those she doesn’t know well.
